Ron Weasley

Ronald Bilius Weasley was a member of a six-person contingent of people from planet Gamma Germanicus VII (a planet in the Gamma Quadrant) who helped to defend the galaxy from the combined forces of the Suliban and their ally, Voldemort. (Harry Potter and the Return of James T. Kirk)

Early history

Ron first met life-long best friend (and future brother-in-law) Harry Potter while traveling to their first year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. It was also on this trip that Ron met his own future fiancee, Hermione Granger.

Ron has come up against situations where his family's lack of finances makes him a target of derogatory actions perpetrated by frequent rival Draco Malfoy. But, as Voldemort's threat increases, Ron and Draco end up setting aside their differences.

Hermione Granger

During the Triwizard Tournament of 1994 (GG7 dating), Ron felt the first stirrings of romantic feelings for Hermione. But, with Hermione taking another boy to the Yule Ball, Ron took a girl named Fleur Delacour to the Ball.

But with the death of Hogwarts student Cedric Diggory during the Final Task of the tournament, Ron and Hermione set aside their differences and began their romance.

Just before Harry and James T. Kirk went through the Guardian of Forever to locate Captain Jonathan Archer, Ron proposed to Hermione. She accepted.

Even during those events, however, Ron was apparently plotting against Harry: during their second year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, Ron overheard Harry admit his love for Hermione to her petrified form. Ron informed his mother, Molly, of this development. As a result, Molly began to dose Harry, Ron, Hermione and Ginny with various potions that would cause Harry and Ginny to begin a romance and Ron and Hermione to do the same.
