Ronald Tracey was a human Federation Starfleet officer on active duty in the mid- to late 23rd century.
Early life and career[]
During the Four Years War, Lieutenant Tracey was assigned to the Hermes-class USS Zeus as a weapons officer. His sister was assigned to the sickbay of the Geronimo-class USS Tecumseh. She was killed when six Klingon D6-class battle cruisers ambushed the Tecumseh. (Axanar: "Why We Fight")
As Exeter captain[]
By 2268, Tracey had risen to the rank of Captain and commanded a Constitution-class starship, the USS Exeter. During a first contact mission at the planet Omega IV, most of Exeter's crew succumbed to the so-called Omega IV virus. Tracey was the sole survivor. (TOS: "The Omega Glory")
