Sara Rose Mallon

Sara Rose Mallon was a Federation Starfleet tactical officer on duty in the late 23rd and early 24th centuries. (Project Potemkin: "Unspoken", "The Chair", "Third Watch", "Frazier's Angels", "The Last Child", "The Talinar Incident", "All in a Day's Work", "Destinies", "The Castaway")

Mallon was the chief tactical officer of the USS Potemkin, successor vessel to a namesake ship that had been destroyed by Romulan forces in 2299. ("The Castaway")

Prior Starfleet career

Lieutenant Mallon had been previously assigned to the Miranda-class light cruiser USS Saratoga. She was transferred to the Constitution-class heavy cruiser USS Potemkin due to some unrevealed infractions. ("Third Watch")

Captain Alec Grigory often assigned Mallon to be the officer of the deck for the Potemkin's third watch. Though she perceived the assignment as punitive, his apparent intention was to give her valuable experience. During one such watch, Mallon comported herself admirably during an encounter with a disguised Romulan vessel. ("Third Watch")

Afterwards, Mallon was often given the conn during alpha shift, even while more senior officers were present. ("The Last Child", "All in a Day's Work")

Mallon had been one of the survivors of the Potemkin's destruction by Romulan vessels in 2299. ("Destinies")
