Commander Se'ele, who was half-Vulcan and half-Romulan, was a Federation Starfleet medical officer and line officer on active duty in the late 23rd and early 24th centuries. (Star Trek: Avenger)
She initially served as executive officer of the USS Avenger (NCC-1860) from June 2299 to early 2300. (Star Trek: Avenger: "The Road Goes Ever On")
In early 2300, the newly-promoted Commander Se'ele was lost on Iskedraan, then recovered in June of that year, and remanded to Starfleet Medical for rehabilitation. ("Scene 24") She returned to her former post as exec in January 2002, but was unable to continue in that position. After spending an additional week at the Starfleet Behavioral and Psychological Services Center in San Francisco ("Iso"), was reposted aboard Avenger as recreation officer in the Medical division. Previous Starfleet career[]
Se'ele served detached duty on the Vulcan science vessel VSS Kai'roo'val as a data management specialist from 2250 to 2251, then spent the next twelve years at Starbase 22.
She was an officer on the science vessel USS Tsiolkovsky from 2290 to 2299.

Se'ele was born on the Vulcan colony T'Pel to S'aitel and T'Ovar.

While at Starfleet Academy, Se'ele studied Klingon martial arts, including the use of the bat'leth, and had become quite proficient in the use of the weapon.
