Selek was a Vulcan Starfleet officer who served during the Dominion War. In 2374, he served as the USS Lambda Paz's night-watch duty officer. He had a watch on the bridge when Hasin Arnit escaped the ship after he was confronted with evidence of his secret communiques with the Dominion. Selek was later given command of the USS Epimetheus in early-2375. Captain Limis Vircona was reminded of this when she hailed the bridge during the gamma shift and Ensign Willis Huckaby answered instead of Selek. ("Faces in the Crowd", "Midnight Ride")
