Seven of Nine, born Annika Hansen, was a human assimilated as a child by the Borg. In 2374, she joined the crew of the USS Voyager, where she became commonly known as "Seven", and returned with the ship to the Alpha Quadrant in 2378. She dreamed to become a ballerina in her childhood.

Fan continuities[]

Harry Potter and the Fountain of Possibilities[]

Shortly after Voyager's return to the Alpha Quadrant, Seven became a leading researcher at the noted Fukui Astronomical Institute.

In January 2381, Seven represented the Fukui Institute on the Federation News Service's Terra Tonight program, during coverage of the Fountain of Possibilities anomaly and the discovery of the remains of the original USS Enterprise. (HPFOP: "Investigation")

RIS Bouteina[]

When the USS Raven was impounded in Romulan space during the 2350s, double agents took some genetic material from her, resulting in a clone. (RIS Bouteina: "Just Cause")

In 2389, she was on an official visit to Rator III and she was revealed to have an intense hatred of the Romulans, especially of the Tal Shiar, in presence of Annika Hansen (clone). It turns out that, had the Tal Shiar held her family in custody, rather than letting her family go, she may not have been assimilated. (RIS Bouteina: "Rator III Awaits")

30 Worlds: Royal Megaforce: "Masters of the Ultimate Power"[]

After an initial rejection of her application to join Starfleet (and a period of time as a member of the paramilitary organization known as the Fenris Rangers, Seven was finally permitted to join Starfleet in 2401.

She was assigned as First officer of the USS Titan NCC-80102-A, where she was forced to go by her birth name of Annika Hansen by Captain Liam Shaw, who had an intense dislike of the Borg--owing to Shaw's experience as a survivor of the Battle of Wolf 359. (PIC: "The Next Generation").

Following Shaw's death in the Frontier Day Disaster later that same year, Seven was promoted to Captain following the final wishes of Shaw, who prior to the Frontier Day Disaster, recommended Seven for a promotion upon the Titan-A's return to port. (PIC: "The Last Generation")

Upon the highly publicized recommendation of Christopher Pike Medal of Valor recipient Zenon Kar to rename the Titan-A as the USS Enterprise-G, Seven accepted the position of the Enterprise-G's commanding officer.
