Kanril Eleya, a newly minted captain in Starfleet, arrives at 40 Eridani A Starfleet Construction Yards with her senior staff to accept her new command, the USS Bajor. Over the next two days, she deals with paperwork and snipe hunts relating to her new position, and then turns the shakedown cruise into an impromptu live-fire exercise when it's interrupted by a distress call from a freighter.
