Skovaan

Captain Skovaan was a Starfleet science officer and line officer on duty in the late 24th and early 25th centuries. (Chronicle: "Best Laid Plans")

After his death, his katra was shared among his surviving family, per a tradition particular to natives of Fa-do-far. This practice was known as the "Re-Convergence". ("Homecoming")

Starfleet career

In 2370, Skovaan was a lieutenant commander and a science officer aboard an Ambassador-class starship whose records were struck from official files. His personnel record for that entire year was redacted, as were the records of the other officers and crew assigned there. ("Shedding Some Light")

By the time of the Dominion War started in 2373, Skovaan was a captain and commanding officer of the USS Persephone. He was widely seen as a war hero due to his actions during the war. (Chronicle Series Bible)

Family

Skovaan was a grandfather of V'Nell. He raised her while her parents were away on a series of archeological expeditions. (David-Zahir DeviantArt)
