Biography[]
Solen was born on February 1 2331 to Sojen and T'Mira in Shir'kar on Vulcan and was named to honor his paternal forefather. Solen's paternal second forefather (great-grandfather on his father's side) was the 22nd century Vulcan national Koss, with whom he bore a strong resemblance.
In 2358, Solen (along with Logan MacLeod) was assigned to field training aboard the USS Berlin where he trained under a chief petty officer known by the rank based nickname "Chief" and future Enterprise-D crewmember Lieutenant Natasha “Tasha” Yar.
In 2359, Solen graduated from the Academy second in his class and was granted the Starfleet Academy Salutatorian Medal.
When being introduced in the traditional Vulcan manner Solen is introduced as Solen, Child of Sojen, Child of Solen.
