Characters[]
- Sugh Larkin
- A Bajoran about middle-age and is the captain of the USS Excalibur. A well-mannered man, he is loved by everyone on the crew.
- John Elick
- Human first officer and good friend to Sugh Larkin. They worked together in Starfleet Ops.
- Yung'Dme Yang
- Chinese science officer and third in command of the USS Excalibur.
- Sirek
- The Vulcan Science Officer who, though raised by human foster parents, follows the teachings of Surak. He never knew his mother, and his father died in a brawl on Romulus, leaving him alone on the ship orbiting Romulus, not even knowing his name. He was picked up by a Vulcan woman named T'Pusahl and she brought him to her home on Earth where she lived with her human husband and handed him over to her human in-laws to raise. T'Pusahl stayed near Sirek teaching him of Surak and she gave him a Vulcan name, along with his human name, James. When Sirek was old enough, he applied for Starfleet Academy and graduated at the top of his class.
- Gran Dern
- Klingon tactical aboard the Excalibur.
- Bruce Jones
- Human tactical aboard the Excalibur who is frequently made fun of about his high pitched voice. He is quiet and usually keeps to himself or with his friend Tomas Smith.
- Gabi Ordonez
- Human Doctor from Guatemala. She is outgoing and has an eye for Sirek.
- ch'Karak Hosse
- Andorian engineer who is a tough martial artist and is very intense. She is one of the best engineers in Starfleet.
- Tomas Smith
- Young rascal of a tactical officer. Can be a little rebellious but is a friendly kid. Good friends with Bruce Jones.
- Igre Ra-Jkliel
- Efrosian who works in engineering and has been, on numerous occasions, an instrumental part of solving mysteries aboard the Excalibur.
