Star Trek: Avalon is a fan fiction work in progress. Captain Sophie Grimes and the fledgling crew of the USS Avalon are setting out to "test the waters" beyond the Alpha Quadrant alliance's borders. The timeframe for this series is set three years beyond the conclusion of the Dominion War.
