Star Trek: Avalon tells the tale of one Thomas Hatch, a loser from the 23rd century who had the bad luck to be catapulted over 2,200 years into his future, to the year 4427. Here, there is no Federation, only violence and a galaxy-spanning empire known as "The Cult". Hatch is picked up by a very strange ship, the USS Avalon and is thrown into a series of adventures as he quests not only to find a way home, but simply to survive in this strange new galaxy.
