Star Trek: Sanctuary

Star Trek: Sanctuary is a fan fiction series initially created for the Star Trek: Tales of the 11th Fleet shared universe. The series was later made a part of the Legendary Universe.

Sanctuary is a Cardassian Nor-class facility; its former designation was Empok Nor. In 2376, following the end of the Dominion War, Starfleet was invited by the new Detapa Council to make the station operational as part of a massive revitalization project spanning much of the Cardassian Union. The station was crewed by a combined Starfleet-Cardassian unit, and the joint operation was initially projected to last for two or three years; however, control of the station was passed to the Cardassians in December of 2376. Only a team of Starfleet engineers - who were more adept at repairing the decades-old computers and equipment on the station - remained behind to help keep the station operational.
