Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles[]

"The Burnt Child"[]

Kamil Abboushi[]

Kamil Abboushi was a flight controller aboard the USS Worsaae in 2366 and 2367.

Abboushi was part of the bridge crew aboard the Worsaae during its mission to Matanda, a planet in orbit of Barnard's Star, under Anne Lansing's command in late 2366. He piloted the ship when the call from Starfleet Command came through to engage the Borg cube at Wolf 359.

The Worsaae was too late, so Starfleet Command ordered the ship to pick-up medical personnel from Earth en route to Wolf 359 to search for survivors. Abboushi remained on board to assist with the search and rescue mission. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "The Burnt Child")

In the script, Abboushi is described as being of Palestinian origin.

Kwame Asamoah[]

Kwame Asamoah was the Starfleet regional commander for Starfleet Security in Chicago in 2366 and 2367.

During the Borg invasion of Sector 001 in 2367, Asamoah mobilized and oversaw all Starfleet personnel keeping the peace in Chicago. He also announced the destruction of the Borg cube to Chicago's citizens and helped organize the rescue effort for Wolf 359, including assigning Daniel Radke and other Starfleet Medical personnel, as well as Jason Athelstan to the USS Worsaae. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "The Burnt Child")

Ch'Arus[]

Ch'Arus was an engineer aboard the USS Princeton in 2366 and 2367.

He, along with several others, survived the Battle of Wolf 359. With a hull breach eminent, ch'Arus was forced to close a hatch on some of Margot Delorit's Starfleet Academy classmates, killing them in the process, in order to save the survivors in the viable compartment. Unfortunately, he and the others were cut off from the emergency environmental support shelter on the same deck by an EPS conduit rupture.

An away team from the USS Worsaae arrived to save the survivors and ch'Arus worked with Jason Athelstan to erect a forcefield over the EPS conduit rupture to allow the survivors access to the emergency environmental support shelter and rescue by the Worsaae. Athelstan and ch'Arus were successful and rescued by the Worsaae before a hull breach evacuated all the atmosphere out of the last surviving section of the Princeton. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "The Burnt Child")

Margot Delorit[]

Margot Delorit was a Starfleet Academy cadet recruited to serve aboard the USS Princeton during the Battle of Wolf 359 in 2366 and 2367.

Delorit was a second-year cadet who managed to gain a B minus in Elkim's class at the Academy. She and several other Academy cadets were recruited to serve aboard Starfleet starships to combat the Borg cube at Wolf 359, and her assignment (along with several of her friends) was aboard the Princeton.

Unfortunately, her friends lagged behind when the survivors attempted to escape a hull breach to the last viable section of the Princeton. Lieutenant junior grade ch'Arus, the highest ranking officer, made the decision to shut the hatch to prevent them all from dying, killing Delorit's classmates in the process.

An away team from the USS Worsaae arrived to assist. Counselor Daniel Radke befriended her in an attempt to coax her out of her "shell shock". Once an escape route was created, Radke attempted to get Delorit to accompany them to the other survivors for a beam-out, but Delorit was frozen. Despite a direct order from team leader Anne Lansing to leave Delorit, Radke carried Delorit to the beam-out point where they were all rescued before a hull breach evacuated the remaining atmosphere out of the Princeton. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "The Burnt Child")

Elkim[]

Elkim was a Starfleet Academy professor who taught a first year course from at least 2353 until 2366. He was known as a bit of a "slave driver".

Both Daniel Radke and Margot Delorit took his class during their times at the Academy. Delorit got through his course with a B minus while Radke claimed he "just scraped by". (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "The Burnt Child")

It's not clear which course he taught or why it was so hard.

Art Finkelstein[]

Art Finkelstein was an archaeologist holding the rank of Lieutenant, working for Starfleet Science Archaeology Division in 2366 and 2367.

Finkelstein was part of the USS Worsaae's archaeological survey away team on Matanda, a planet in orbit of Barnard's Star, under Anne Lansing's command in late 2366. He, Nancy Redwing and Lansing beamed back to the Worsaae once the call from Starfleet Command came through to engage the Borg cube at Wolf 359.

The Worsaae was too late, so Starfleet Command ordered the ship to pick-up medical personnel from Earth en route to Wolf 359 to search for survivors. Finkelstein remained on board to assist with the search and rescue mission. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "The Burnt Child")

Emmanuel Ndikumana[]

Emmanuel Ndikumana was a operations manager aboard the USS Worsaae in 2366 and 2367.

Ndikumana was part of the bridge crew aboard the Worsaae during its mission to Matanda, a planet in orbit of Barnard's Star, under Anne Lansing's command in late 2366. He was in command of the ship when the call from Starfleet Command came through to engage the Borg cube at Wolf 359.

The Worsaae was too late, so Starfleet Command ordered the ship to pick-up medical personnel from Earth en route to Wolf 359 to search for survivors. Ndikumana remained on board to assist with the search and rescue mission. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "The Burnt Child")

In the script, Ndikumana is described as being of Rwandaian origin.

Nancy Redwing[]

Nancy Redwing was an archaeologist holding the rank of Lieutenant junior grade, working for Starfleet Science Archaeology Division in 2366 and 2367.

Redwing was part of the USS Worsaae's archaeological survey away team on Matanda, a planet in orbit of Barnard's Star, under Anne Lansing's command in late 2366. She, Art Finkelstein and Lansing beamed back to the Worsaae once the call from Starfleet Command came through to engage the Borg cube at Wolf 359.

The Worsaae was too late, so Starfleet Command ordered the ship to pick-up medical personnel from Earth en route to Wolf 359 to search for survivors. Redwing remained on board to assist with the search and rescue mission. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "The Burnt Child")

T'Prain[]

T'Prain was a scientist aboard a 27th century Federation starship, acting as the science officer.

She led the security team to stop the USS Prospect away team from getting any further in the ship. After Captain John Greene surrendered, T'Prain took Greene and the others to her commanding officer, Captain Amila Thon. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "The Burnt Child")

Amila Thon[]

Amila Thon was the commanding officer of a 27th century Federation starship sent back in time to observe the Battle of Wolf 359 in 2367.

Thon and USS Prospect Captain John Greene had a lengthy discussion about her past (and Greene's future). In this, she explained they were historians on a mission to witness the Battle of Wolf 359 first hand and that the Prospect's disruption of their communication beam with the Borg cube sent six of her historians to their assimilations and possible deaths. She also revealed to Greene his name went down in history for fighting enemies "far worse" than the Borg, and that some members of his then-current crew, including second officer Evonne Wilson were not a part of his team to take on these "far worse" threats. Thon indicated to Greene he should ask Hahn Jun-Seok about some of these threats; something Lee denied any knowledge of.

Later, a projection of Thon appeared to Greene aboard the Prospect to encourage him to get Anne Lansing and Daniel Radke to rejoin his crew as a part of his preparation for the upcoming battle. She also revealed he had faced the enemy before and would face that enemy again in the near future. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "The Burnt Child")

Thon appears to be serious in her allegations. She states Lee is not what he appears and would know about the "far worse" enemies (he reveals he's a Na'arbi agent in "Lady Lazarus"), that Greene would face "far worse" enemies than the Borg (which would foreshadow encounters with the Dominion and the M'Tar), and Kari Eriksson would be the final player ("she comes from hope").

Wayan[]

Wayan was the chief engineer aboard the USS Worsaae in 2366 and 2367.

Wayan served aboard the Worsaae during its mission to Matanda, a planet in orbit of Barnard's Star, under Anne Lansing's command in late 2366. He and his team fixed damaged equipment aboard the Worsaae en route to engage the Borg cube at Wolf 359.

The Worsaae was too late, so Starfleet Command ordered the ship to pick-up medical personnel from Earth en route to Wolf 359 to search for survivors. Wayan remained on board to assist with the search and rescue mission. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "The Burnt Child")

Wayan was of Indonesian, specifically Balinese origin. His name means "first born".

"Starry, Starry Night"[]

Aguda[]

Aguda was a security officer aboard the USS Prospect in 2367.

While security chief George Stratos participated in an undercover away team mission on Goffan III, Aguda acted at Stratos's post on the bridge. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "Starry, Starry Night")

In the script, Aguda is described as being of Nigerian origin.

Methia[]

Methia was the Jenchum first officer of the Jenchum battle cruiser Alonia in 2367.

In that year, she and an away team took a Jenchum shuttlecraft to the surface of Goffan IV to, at first, observe the USS Prospect's away team, led by Commander Hahn Jun-Seok. Lee built up a relationship of trust with her, and she and her team began to assist the Starfleet team.

After making great leaps and bounds in upgrading sensor technology to detect molocine more reliably, Hahn asked Methia for assistance in determining if the Jenchum were developing subspace weapons in a secret facility in Enika on Goffan III. Methia was unsure about revealing this information, but, after Hahn revealed the Prospect's secondary mission, she revealed the Jenchum testing of subspace weaponry was a failure, with a subspace anomaly opening, killing all the scientists and military personnel present.

She returned to the Alonia, leaving with the ship after their final contact with the Prospect. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "Starry, Starry Night")

Methia also kept her word and transferred sensor data on the subspace anomaly to Hahn. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "Honor Thy Father")

Julie Greene[]

Julie Greene was a relief flight controller aboard the USS Prospect in 2367, and sister of John and Michael Greene.

While flight controller Jennifer Drever participated in an undercover away team mission on Goffan III, Greene acted at Drever's post on the bridge. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "Starry, Starry Night")

Thelius[]

Thelius was the Jenchum commanding officer of the Jenchum battle cruiser Alonia in 2367.

He contacted the USS Prospect in orbit of Goffan IV and disputed the Prospect's right to be in Jenchum Suzerainty space. Captain John Greene sent the agreement over for Thelius to read over, stating their governments had more authority than either he or Thelius had.

Obviously, the Jenchum government told him the same thing, as Thelius never confronted Greene or the Prospect about that, opting instead to send his first officer Methia to work with the Starfleet away team on Goffan IV.

Once the mission was completed, Thelius expressed his hope the Federation and Jenchum could work closer together in the future. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "Starry, Starry Night")

"Lady Lazarus"[]

Ralf Mendoza[]

Ralf Mendoza was a security officer aboard the USS Prospect in 2367.

In that same year, he was part of the away team searching the USS Artemis for clues as to why it disappeared three years prior. When he and George Stratos found the altered Daniel Radke and Garrett, he drew his phaser to attack, but Radke killed him by using his altered telekinetic powers to crush Mendoza's internal organs, killing him. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "Lady Lazarus")

Her first name and position are not known. It's assumed she was a transporter chief or engineering staff member.

Ferris[]

Ferris was a Starfleet bridge officer stationed on the USS Koru in 2372.

In that same year, she was killed when a Myhr'an ship destroyed the Koru's bridge. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Catalyst, Part One")

Ferris's first name, rank or position on the bridge are not known.

Angus Ladd[]

Angus Ladd was the chief engineer of the USS Koru before its destruction by the Myhr'an in 2372.

He survived the attack to escape aboard the Runabout Avon to the safety of the USS Cantabrian. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Catalyst, Part One")

Rangi Manawatu[]

Rangi Manawatu was a Starfleet captain, commanding officer of the USS Marsh.

He and the majority of the Marsh's crew were believed killed in 2372 by a Myhr'an attack destroying the Marsh. Captain Noah Wrightson said Manawatu spoke highly of Yh'ahni in all his reports on her. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Catalyst, Part One")

Merchinson[]

Merchinson was a Starfleet security officer aboard the USS Cantabrian.

In 2372, as a member of an away team to Starbase Expanse 3, she was killed by a Myhr'an. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Catalyst, Part One")

Her first name was not established.

Eve Morrison, MD was the chief medical officer of the USS Koru from its launch in 2371 until its destruction in 2372. She was one of the survivors who escaped on the USS Avon. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Catalyst, Part One")

The last name Morrison is a tip-of-the-hat to writer Toni Morrison.

Sentok[]

Sentok was a Starfleet security officer aboard the USS Cantabrian (NCC-24705) and a Vulcan.

In 2372, as a member of an away team to Starbase Expanse 3, he was killed by a Myhr'an. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Catalyst, Part One")

Guenther Staerke[]

Guenther Staerke was the commanding officer of the USS Koru. He died in 2372 when the Myhr'an destroyed the bridge of the Koru, killing everyone in that section. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Catalyst, Part One")

Threk[]

Threk was the chief linguistics officer aboard the USS Cantabrian in 2372. He was killed by the Myhr'an while on an away team mission to Starbase Expanse 3 in the same year. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Catalyst, Part One")

Ambrose Wong[]

Ambrose Wong was a Federation civilian who gave cave tours on Krakania and who lived at Starbase Expanse 4.

She was the third generation of her family to live on Krakania. Her grandfather explored the extensive cave system and even nicknamed the purple light emanating from the cave "Peking Purple".

In 2372, when the Myhr'an attacked Starbase Expanse 4, Ambrose Wong was one of the few survivors (although she was trapped in a cave with most of the tourists at the time) and was rescued by the USS Cantabrian. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Catalyst, Part One")

Yokehama[]

Yokehama was a Starfleet bridge officer stationed on the USS Koru in 2372.

In that same year, he was killed when a Myhr'an ship destroyed the Koru's bridge. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Catalyst, Part One")

Yokehama's first name, rank or position on the bridge are not known.

"Breaking Benjamin"[]

Gerold McLeod[]

Gerold McLeod was the commanding officer of the USS Coral Sea in 2372. Dr. Marie Bourget served as chief medical officer during his command.

With Dr. Bourget's support, McLeod kicked Helena Bourget off the Coral Sea in 2356. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Breaking Benjamin")

Christian Nowak[]

Christian Nowak was a human member of the Arkrand Society in 2371.

Nowak accompanied Helena Bourget to Lelar Prime and acted as the Arkrand Society's spokesperson. He proposed, to Lelari minister Rakayla, that the Arkrand Society be allowed to have a member on the planet to ensure non-Lelari cultures would have a minimal cultural impact on the Lelari and a medical doctor, such as Bourget, would be a great asset to their medical community by explaining non-Lelari anatomy and physiology, helping provide ideas for cures and medical treatments. His arguments were successful in gaining Bourget the appointment on the Lelari homeworld.

In actuality, Nowak was secretly spreading anti-Federation sentiment to another world. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Breaking Benjamin")

"Isolation"[]

Colony transporter controller[]

The Colony transporter controller was responsible for ground-based transporter operations on Caldea IV. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Isolation")

Marquez[]

Marquez was the leader of the Caldea IV colony in 2372.

After the USS Cantabrian assisted in quelling a medical outbreak, Marquez, and other colonists threw a dinner in honor of the crew. Captain Noah Wrightson and Counselor Daniel Radke were the last Cantabrian senior officers to leave.

Marquez assisted the Cantabrian crew in their investigations into Wrightson's infection by a variant of Caldean Acute Cardiopulmonary Syndrome, also revealing some vital history into the disease.

After the Cantabrian left to drop of civilians at Starbase Expanse 7, Marquez remained in regular contact with Radke and Wrightson aboard the supply station in orbit. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Isolation")

"Two Hit, One Stone"[]

Bror Sorensen[]

Bror Sorensen was the son of USS Marsh science officer Åse Sorensen and Kristian Sorensen, and younger brother of Synni. He was born in 2366.

In 2372, the Myhr'an attacked the Marsh at Starbase Expanse 4, destroying the ship. Starfleet believed the crew dead; however, further investigation discovered the Myhr'an kidnapped most of the crew and transferred them to the Myhr'an internment camp on Rhinessa VI to be used as raw materials to manufacture more Myhr'an clones.

Upon discovering this, former Marsh security chief Yh'ahni, a close friend of the Sorensens, went to Rhinessa VI, liberating the survivors. Åse Sorensen had died protecting her family while Kristian, Bror, and Synni moved back to Earth. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Two Hit, One Stone")

Bror Sorensen gets his first name from ABBA group member Benny Andersson's middle name. Like his namesake, Bror was Swedish.

Kristian Sorensen[]

Kristian Sorensen was the husband of USS Marsh science officer Åse Sorensen and father of Synni and Bror.

Kristian Sorensen gets his first name from ABBA group member Björn Ulvaeus's middle name. Like his namesake, Kristian was Swedish.

Synni Sorensen[]

Synni Sorensen was the daughter of USS Marsh science officer Åse Sorensen and Kristian Sorensen and older sister of Bror. She was born in 2363.

Synni Sorensen gets her first name from ABBA group member Anni-Frid Lyngstad's middle name. Like her namesake, Synni was Swedish.

Anne de Gaillimhe[]

Anne de Gaillimhe was the wife of Captain Liam de Gaillimhe. She was killed by the Treaty Killers sometime prior to 2372. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "White Flag")

It's strongly implied Anne, like Daniel Radke, was a M'Tar Liaison. The name "Anne" is a play on Buffy Summers's choice of name when on the run in Buffy the Vampire Slayer.

Specials[]

"Dream a Little Dream of Me"[]

D'Mer[]

D'Mer was a Romulan doctor working for the Romulan Star Empire on Unroth III in 2384.

In that same year, D'Mer was working with Tal Shiar agent Tovath in attempting to extract vital information from a comatose Corey Aster. He and Tovath had an antagonistic working relationship, to the point where every comment Tovath made D'Mer felt was a personal attack on him, his family or his abilities.

D'Mer discovered Tovath was actually Starfleet Special Operations operative Daniel Radke was surgically altered to appear as Tovath, and attempted to stop him, but Radke subdued D'Mer before escaping with Aster. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Dream a Little Dream of Me")

Alan Melonsky[]

Alan Melonsky, MD, was a Starfleet Special Operations operative and medical doctor.

In 2384, he and fellow operative Daniel Radke were disguised as Romulans, on a top secret mission to prepare and extradite Corey Aster from a Romulan-controlled medical facility on Unroth III.

Soon after their arrival and before they could infiltrate the facility, three Tal Shiar agents discovered Melonsky was a human Starfleet officer. Melonsky attempted to escape but was disintegrated by a disruptor blast, leaving Radke alone to free Aster. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Dream a Little Dream of Me")

It's not clear whether Melonsky was a member of the USS Cantabrian-A crew or a special operative brought in specially to free Aster. It's also not clear whether Radke knew Melonsky before their mission together or not.

Tovath[]

Tovath was a Romulan Tal Shiar operative who defected to the Federation in 2384.

Prior to the Romulans' discovery of Tovath's defection, Starfleet Special Operations operative Daniel Radke was surgically altered to appear as Tovath, and, using that persona, infiltrated the medical facility holding Corey Aster, eventually liberating him. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Dream a Little Dream of Me")
