Enip[]
Enip was a planet a Starfleet Special Operations team from the USS Prospect infiltrated sometime prior to 2367 in an effort to determine if the Enipians were building weapons to attack the Federation. The mission was a failure, with Kari Eriksson and Vanessa Biondo captured, Daniel Radke and Anne Lansing trapped in the caves under one of the main cities, and the rest of the team dead. - The away team was obviously saved somehow. The author intended Enip to be a Cardassian ally, and the weapons building were not for the Enipians but the Cardassians, as part of the build-up mentioned in TNG: "The Wounded".
Taris III[]
Taris III was a planet near the Typhon Expanse and suspected outbreak point of Taris Syndrome. (Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions: "Breaking Benjamin")
- It is not known how many people on the planet are infected, how the infection came about, or how it spread off-world. It is also not known if Taris III is a colony of another power or if a specific race native to that planet lives there.
Xaria[]
Xaria was a Federation member planet and homeworld of the Xarians. It remained the furthest Federation member planet from Earth, taking approximately 18 months at high warp to reach.
