Star Trek Online is a massively multiplayer online role-playing game (MMORPG) video game by Cryptic Studios. Within the game, and in addition to, players can create their own playable-fan fiction through Foundry Missions. The game has also inspired fans to participate and create Arc Forums Star Trek Online: Literary Challenges, stories and comics.

Foundry missions are fan-created stories within the game. They can be accessed from either the Federation or Klingon factions, with the Romulan one-sided on either faction.
