Starbase 21

Starbase 21 was a Federation Starfleet starbase active in the 23rd century through the 32nd century.

The location of the starbase is on a holographic chart in DIS: "Scavengers". There is no indication that it had been in continuous use for over 900 years.

The starbase was located on the surface of planet Beta III, and was commanded by Commodore Terry Ramses. (Star Trek: Eagle)

After its encounter with Kukulkan in 2270, the USS Enterprise reported to Starbase 21. (TAS: "How Sharper Than a Serpent's Tooth")

Following the end of James T. Kirk's first five-year mission as captain of the Enterprise, Lieutenant Commander Giotto was slated to take a deskbound billet as senior security advisor to the Chief of Operations at Starbase 21. (Absolute Horizon)

Perimeter Action Group 5 was stationed out of Starbase 21 in the early 2290s. (Ships of the Star Fleet, vol. 2)
