Starbase 343

Starbase 343 was a Federation starbase in the Beta Quadrant, in operation as early as 2256. (DIS: "Choose Your Pain", "Music to Make the Sanest Man Go Mad", "The War Within, The War Without")

It was located near Regulus and the Paulson Nebula.

During the Federation-Klingon War, the station was occupied by Klingons. ("The War Within, The War Without")

Several USS Enterprise-D officers took shore leave here in 2366. (TNG: "The Vengeance Factor")

In 2377-78, Starbase 343 was the command base of the Starfleet Twelfth Fleet. (Ships of the Star Fleet, Vol. 4: Star Fleet Operating Forces. )

Star Trek: Destiny

In 2381, Starbase 343 was one of three Federation starbases attacked by Borg cubes during the Borg Invasion. The USS Excalibur-A protected the base during the battle, and destroyed the cube. (Gods of Night)
