The First Battalion was one of six battalions assigned to the Seventh Brigade in the Starfleet Marine Corps during the 23rd and 24th centuries. The Battalion Nickname is: The Delaware Line. The Battalion Motto is:
Liberty and Independence.
Units assigned to this battalion included the 707th Marine Strike Group and 717th Marine Strike Group.
In 2385, the 1st Battalion's OIC was Lieutenant Colonel Brian A. Crist.
Currently, the First Battalion of the Seventh Brigade is deactivated.
Background[]
The 1st Battalion of the 7th Brigade was also an element of the Starfleet Marine Corps in Starfleet International. Its jurisdiction corresponded to the state of Delaware.
The 707th and the 717th MSGs have been deactivated.
