Archaeology and Anthropology Division[edit | edit source]
One such division within Starfleet Science was the Archaeology and Anthropology Division, a group responsible for some archaeological and anthropological surveys taking place within the Federation. This was sometimes referred to simply as the Archaeology Division or A & A Division. The Archaeology and Anthropology Division had starships assigned to it, including the USS Carnarvon and USS Worsaae in 2366 and 2367, participating in an archaeological survey of Matanda in orbit of Barnard's Star. Anne Lansing, Art Finkelstein and Nancy Redwing were three members of the Archaeology part of the division as of 2366 and 2367. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "The Burnt Child")
