Stephanie Taylor

Lieutenant Junior Grade Stephanie Taylor was a Starfleet officer in the late 24th century.

Her first assignment out of the academy was on the Nebula-class USS Horizon, where she heard constant complaints of maintenance problems, especially with the warp core. (USS Baldwin: "Bullseye").

Stephanie was transferred to the USS Baldwin by mid 2374 as the late-shift helmsperson (USS Baldwin: "Storm Front"). On stardate 52201, she was assigned to accompany Baldwin Captain Patrick Ingrum to Starbase 375. She was seriously injured when the runabout Neosho was attacked by Jem'Hadar forces. She agreed to an experimental neural link. The link was successful in healing her injuries and also had a side effect of the two being able to share thoughts for some time afterward (USS Baldwin: "Healing Link"). The two developed a strong friendship after the incident. Patrick made Sarah his assistant on stardate 52242 to help him with “some of the red tape” (USS Baldwin: "Bullseye"). There was enough of a link for her to sense that Patrick had been kidnapped by Section 31 operatives in late April of 2375. Stephanie and Laura Bennett were able to locate the Section 31 vessel. As his assistant, she accompanied Patrick to a conference on Deep Space 9. Patrick was somewhat distracted by the impending birth of his daughter and was glad to have someone to talk to. (USS Baldwin: "Frontiers")

Personal relationships

Stephanie previously served on the USS Horizon with Sarah Allison, Betsy Royer, and Laura Bennett. The four formed a friendship and got together aboard the replimat on Starbase 375 in 2375. (USS Baldwin: "Bullseye")

Hobbies

Sarah had an interest in Dance (USS Baldwin: "Healing Link") and was a part of the dance troupe started by Baldwin XO Reinette Hernandez. She took on leadership of the troupe when Reinette left the ship. She also has an interest in music, mixing Patrick's singing with the dance troupe's performances (USS Baldwin: "Trouble in Paradise") and is occasionally coerced to duet with Patrick (USS Baldwin: "Bullseye")
