History

Early history

Steven DiCosola was born on Earth in 1975.

During the Eugenics Wars, one faction detonated biogenic weapons, rendering thousands of people on Earth unconscious and riddled with an incurable medical condition; DiCosola was one of the victims. The United Nations voted to place the victims in cryosatellites in orbit of Earth, but most of these sleeper ships mysteriously disappeared in the early 21st century.

Starfleet later came to the conclusion the wake from the USS Voyager's trip to 1996 dragged these cryosatellites into the 23rd and 24th centuries, dispersing them throughout the Alpha and Beta Quadrants.

The cryosatellite DiCosola's body was stored aboard was discovered around 2353.

This cryosatellite was not the same as the one Scott Fack's body was aboard.

2367

In 2367, DiCosola was a part of the away team led by Captain John Sill to the alien ship at Wolf 359. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "The Burnt Child")

A few weeks later, he was a part of the undercover away team to Enika on Goffan III to determine if the Jenchum Suzerainty were developing a subspace weapon. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "Starry, Starry Night")

Later that same year, he was on bridge duty when second officer Kari Liljehorn discovered an anomalous sensor reading, which later turned out to be the abandoned USS Artemis. He was also part of the away team exploring the Artemis with first officer Anne Cobry, security chief George Serigos, security officers Ralf Mendoza and Garrett and counselor Scott Fack when the M'Tar converted Fack and Garrett into the Liaison and Link respectively. After Cobry was injured, DiCosola tended to her wounds until the Prospect was able to beam them back. (Star Trek: The Prospect Chronicles: "Lady Lazarus")

Star Trek: Pendragon

In the Pendragon timeline, Steve DiCosola and Anne Cobry were married sometime in or immediately prior to 2379. (Star Trek: Pendragon: Other Knights anthology: "Gravity")
