A TV dinner is a generic term used to designate pre-made meals that only needed reheating. Their composition is variable among species: Lyran TV dinners were usually made of breaded fish, while Romulan TV dinners were more "complete" than their Lyran counterparts. In a spacefaring context, TV dinners are often associated with short-range missions.
