Tahel Mizrahi

Tahel Mizrahi (Hebrew: טהל מיזרהי) was a human female serving in the Maquis, then aboard USS Voyager in the 2370s. (The Mysterious Case of Neelix's Lungs)

Biography

Mizrahi was born and raised Jewish in an Orthodox district in Haifa. She took a semester of warp theory before dropping out of college. ("Setting the Curve")

By 2371 she had joined the Maquis and was aboard Chakotay's ship the Val Jean when it was taken to the Delta Quadrant by the Caretaker. Along with the other surviving Maquis she joined the crew of USS Voyager for the journey home, and was assigned to ship's security with the provisional grade of crewman. ("Revelations", "Setting the Curve")

On stardate 48658.2 (2 July) she went with Kepa Ayala and several other crew members to look for Harani Seska, who had gone missing while looking for edible mushrooms. The team came under attack by the Kazon-Nistrim. Mizrahi killed at least one Kazon with her phase compression rifle but sustained a gunshot wound. ("Revelations")

When Gerron Enek knocked out Voyager's navigation systems while attempting an unauthorized upgrade around stardate 48743.9 (5 August), Veronica Stadi listed off to Ayala a series of discipline problems they'd had from the ex-Maquis crew members, which included Tom Paris catching Mizrahi and Mariah Henley making out on duty. Later Mizrahi discovered a Founder masquerading as Henley in main engineering and alerted security before being incapacitated.
