Tal'Aura t'Kaveth was a Romulan noblewoman associated with Kaveth Ship-Clan, and a member of the Romulan Senate in the late 2370s and early 2380s. (Star Trek Nemesis; Bait and Switch: Emael Mosekhesailho; The Path to 2409)

The character is canonically called Tal'aura or Tal'Aura.

Biography Edit

In 2379 Tal'Aura was the senator for Mirhassa's seventh administrative district. She conspired with Shinzon and several Romulan Star Navy officers to mount a coup d'état against the Romulan government, assassinating Praetor Hiren and most of her fellow senators with a thalaron generator. She arranged to be called out of the Hall of State for a meeting with the Tholian ambassador before the device detonated. (Bait and Switch: Emael Mosekhesailho; Star Trek Nemesis, inc. novelization)

After confirming Tal'Aura's role in the coup, Sahuel t'Khnialmnae asked Hakeev tr'Droall to be allowed to kill Tal'Aura to avenge her mother, one of the senators killed. (Bait and Switch: Emael Mosekhesailho)

Following Shinzon's death at the hands of the crew of the USS Enterprise, Tal'Aura declared herself praetor and reformed the Senate. However, this led to a disagreement between her and her co-conspirator Donatra, who eventually led the Third and Fifth fleets in rebellion and declared herself Empress of the Imperial Romulan State, beginning a civil war.

Tal'Aura was found murdered in her sleep in 2384. (The Path to 2409)
