Talk: New Orleans class

Based on official information from TNG, the Rutledge, a New Orleans class, was in service during the Cardassian War in 2348. Miles O'Brien served on this vessel during the war. TNG seems to suggest that these vessels were in service in response to mounting tensions with Cardassia, so were probably launched in the 2330's then.
