Renaissance-II vs Wanderer class:[]
On the Star Trek: Hidden Frontier Fan Club Facebook group, Rob Caves said the following and I'm not sure how to properly cite and use it, but I included an edited version in the article. Here is the original text from Rob:
- Helena (and other instances) in Hidden Frontier and its spinoffs was a Wanderer variant of the Renaissance Class starship used with permission of its creator, Joe McMullen. In HF tech lore, presumably there was a non-gull-wing earlier version of the Renny that fits in the lineage of the Ambassador/Pre-Galaxy design era. Newer builds all presumably would be of the retractable (but possibly fixed) Wanderer Class.
