The name should just be "Scorpion class." --Kevin W.Talk to me 21:36, August 8, 2013 (UTC)

I respectfully disagree.  The Gorn ship from Star Trek Remastered was out there to intercept intruders into their space.  Since the Federation named it, just like the Klingon D-7 Battlecruiser, it is there to fit the perception of the persons who named the ship in first encounters.  And we refer to it as the Scorpion Class Interceptor in our series. -- Sincerely, Ken Thomson

But the actual name of the thing, even as Starfleet calls it, wouldn't be "Gorn Scorpion class." It'd be Scorpion class. Interceptor is a type of ship, not a name of a class. Battlecruiser isn't part of the D7's class name, either it's the type of vessel. --TimPendragon (talk) 03:09, November 17, 2013 (UTC)
