This article mixes real world and in-universe perspective. Articles, except those explicitly referring to real world sources (etc), should be written as if they are from a futuristic Federation encyclopedia. Real world notes should either
- be offset, in italics, if they are brief...
or be in a "Background" or "notes" section before the external links. --TimPendragon 20:40, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
Thanks for the heads up. I'll take care of the problems dealing with Star Trek: Lexington (fan fiction) and the more obvious stuff from any of the other writers, but I'm a little shy about doing too much with their stuff.--David Falkayn 21:56, 27 December 2007 (UTC)David Falkayn
- Wanted to add that I saw that the Lexington (fan fiction) section needed better 'wikification' and so went on ahead and did that. There's some red links that need to be addressed, but I talked with Jrofeta about how to take care of those without creating a bunch of two and three sentence stub pages and I'm in the process of tending to that--although it's going to take a bit of time.--David Falkayn 22:13, 27 December 2007 (UTC)David Falkayn
- That's fine, there's no rush. By and large, redlinks aren't a problem - they let us know what we need. The main issue we've been having with them, AFAIK, is that a while ago Captainmike and few others added a bunch of starship or NCC links in templates, and those are clogging up Special:Wantedpages. --TimPendragon 22:47, 27 December 2007 (UTC)
