- Yeah, heh. It seems to be a trend with Trek writers. There were Nebula class Monitors and Merrimacs mentioned in TNG, and in the old TNG Super Nintendo game, the Enterprise always had to rendezvous with either the Monitor or Merrimac, but they were Ambassador class. When the Defiant class Monitor was featured in The Return, I knew there just had to be a Merrimac out there. Cheesy, maybe...but, hey, it works. --TimPendragon 02:05, 24 November 2006 (UTC)
