Registry Error[]

NCC-Registry for the U.S.S. Winter Solstice, Chapter of Starfleet International was NCC-62133, not 26133 as originally stated in this stub. Not sure how to repair this issue since the erroneous registry is part of the article URL. --Zebragrrl 10:10, August 11, 2011 (UTC)

I've moved the article for you. Apologies for the error. :) --The Doctor 10:46, August 11, 2011 (UTC)
I feel a bit dumb now.. and maybe it would be better to undo this move. After doing some more research, I can see WHERE the error appeared. It seems that Scott Akers changed the registry number (retconned it) to fit the ship in with the era of the Zhukov and Yamaguchi in the ASDB publication "Ships of the Star Fleet" (http://www.asdb.net/asdb/docs/sotsf/SOTSF1.pdf). I'm guessing that the 62 registry was mis-spoken when it was assigned to us, and everyone just "went with it". When the chapter folded, I guess there was no one to be bothered by changing the registry from 62xxx to 26xxx.
I am sorry to be a pain about this, I think it would be best to leave the registry consistent with the "Ships of the Star Fleet" reference (26133), since that's more recent, and more official at this point than some old logos for a Star Trek club that no longer exists. Then we can make a notation that states that the fan club's registry was 62133, with a note that this was probably an unintended error that was allowed to continue while the chapter was active.
I will dig through my old files, and see if I still have some artwork/logos that we used for the club.I wonder if I should retcon any registry numbers on the artwork.Zebragrrl 11:08, August 11, 2011 (UTC)
