Arjagul Tarska Hesar was an officer in the Cardassian Army. He was eventually promoted by Legate Damar to the position of Idrig Arjagul (Field General) during the Dominion War. (The Dominion War Sourcebook: The Fires of Armageddon)
Before his promotion, Hesar served as commander of Cardassian troops in the 16th Order. Coordinating his forces from New Xindus, he worked closely with Liska and was caught off-guard during the Renewal Offensive. (The Renewal Offensive)
In September 2375, the Dominion launched an assault on the "Muslim colonies". Hesar was brought in to bring the offensive back on track. (Star Trek: Laughing Sawfish)
