Task Force 72 was a Starfleet task force extant in the late 24th century. It was part of the Starfleet Seventh Fleet.
In 2377-78, Rear Admiral Robert E. Vosseller IV was Task Force 72's commanding officer aboard the flagship USS Challenger (a Galaxy-class large exploration cruiser).
