Teddy Burroughs

Teddy Burroughs was a Federation Starfleet helm officer on duty in the late 23rd and early 24th centuries. (Project Potemkin: "Second Contact", "Command Decision", "Just Once...", "The Chair", "Third Watch", "The Last Child", "The Talinar Incident", "Destinies", "The Castaway")

He was the senior helm officer of the USS Potemkin (NCC-4517) in 2306. This Potemkin was the successor vessel to a namesake ship destroyed by Romulan forces seven years earlier. ("The Castaway")

Prior Starfleet career

Burroughs was one of several Starfleet Academy cadets on the Constitution-class heavy cruiser USS Potemkin when it visited the Dolendan homeworld. ("Second Contact") Later that year, he would graduate from the Academy and be posted to Potemkin as a helmsman with the rank of ensign. ("Command Decision")

On Potemkin, Burroughs distinguished himself enough to be promoted to lieutenant.

Burroughs was at the helm during an engagement with a disguised Romulan vessel. ("Third Watch") In 2299, he was one of the survivors of the Potemkin's destruction. ("Destinies")
