The Thanatos Weapon Mech was a mysterious mech built by an extinct civilisation of the Trevok Naruoka system. (Dimensional Prophecy of Zohar)
The mech was discovered by Ferengi explorers during the 25th century, who sold the weapon to the Federation believing it to be worthless. Study of the mech revealed that it was built with material from Sha Ka Ree and that its weapons were powered by the Thanatos drive of the operator.
