"The Polyphemus Program" was the 38th fan film until the umbrella title of Starship Potemkin (fka Project Potemkin). It was written by David Eversole, and directed and edited by Randall Landers. It was released on 18 August 2024.
After a machine race leaves a trail of mentally damaged victims across Federation space, Fleet Captain Alec Grigory--with the help of his Vulcan science officer, Lieutenant T’Sov, and a crew of officers in training--finds this robotic race might actually be victims of something more contagious than any plague. And now, accused of subverting the machine race’s routine, Grigory returns to face the ultimate punishment: the erasure of his programming.
