"The Shadow Maneuvers" was the sixty-third episode of Star Trek: Phoenix-X. It was the thirteenth episode of the third season.
Summary[]
The Hellonesian's meet with the USS Atlantis for talks about joining the Federation. The Phoenix-X is ordered to infiltrate and monitor the talks from an invisible position. But when Agent Rave of Section 31 is put into work alongside the crew, he soon begins to take the monitoring into his own hands.

Background information[]
- This is Rave's first appearance. He later makes his mark in the three-part "Temporal Doom!" episode series.
- At the end of the episode the Hellonesians do not join the Federation.
- RaeLuna and Kugo make use of the Cloaking Suits that were last used in the Season 2 episode's "The Invisible Enemy" and "Killing Spree"; which were the exact suits taken from the Enterprise-E's Son'a encounter in Star Trek: Insurrection.
- This is also the first appearance of the USS Atlantis, which is Captained by a Captain Nemo: named after the Jules Verne character Captain Nemo.
