"The Stars Fill The Sky, So In Love With You Am I" is the fifteenth episode of the second season of Star Trek: The Cantabrian Expeditions.
Summary[]
Cantabrian commanding officer Captain Noah Wrightson and his partner Counselor Daniel Radke need a break, so they take some much-needed shore leave. But the holiday turns into a drive to solve a mystery, including finding out the possible fate of the Cantabrian's second commanding officer, Captain Jack Annand...
Notes[]
- Wrightson and Radke's relationship is strengthened in this episode.
- We learn the Cantabrian's second commanding officer is Captain Jack Annand, who took over command from Thekla Lawless after her retirement in 2330, and that he disappeared without a trace in 2341 on the same planet Wrightson and Radke vacation on.
- The title of the episode comes from a lyric in Cole Porter's song "So in Love" from the musical Kiss Me, Kate. The lyric goes, "Strange, dear, but true, dear/When I'm close to you, dear/The stars fill the sky/So in love with you am I".
