The Trek BBS in the 2020s
The Trek BBS was a Star Trek message board started in 1999. In addition to Trek, it had several other sub forums. It also contained Fan Fiction, Fan Production and Fan Art subforums where people would post their work.

In the Fan Fiction forums, there were bimonthly writing challenges, indicated by prompts written by the previous winner of the last challenge.
In addition to the challenges, people posted their own fan fiction, freely. Series posted to the forums:
