Jake was born on July 28, 2235 human calendar time on Earth in New South Wales, Australia.

Chronology

• 2235: Tom is born on Earth in New South Wales, Australia.
• 2253: Tom enters Starfleet Academy
• 2257: Tom graduates Starfleet Academy, is promoted to Ensign. The first assignment is the USS Defiant as a Security Officer.
• 2260: Tom is promoted to Lieutenant junior grade and is a Security Officer on the USS Monitor.
• 2265: Tom is promoted to full Lieutenant and is a Security Officer on the USS Rigel.
• 2270: Tom is promoted to Lieutenant Commander and is made the Senior Security Officer on Starbase 7.
