The Tirethi class was a type of swift cruiser that saw service with the Romulan Star Empire during the 24th century. The class entered service in 2355. (Ship Recognition Manual, Volume 5: Starships of the Romulan Star Empire)
The Tirethi consisted of a narrow rectangular main hull with a command hull on the forward end that contained the bridge. Two broad forward curved wing pylons projected from the side of the main hull and held the nacelles at their ends.
- This class is meant to represent the type of Romulan vessel seen in TNG: "The Defector".
