Travis Mayweather

Travis Mayweather was member of Earth's Starfleet in the mid-to-late 22nd century. As an ensign, Mayweather served aboard the Enterprise (NX-01) during her historic first decade of service. (ENT: "Broken Bow", "These Are the Voyages")

A "boomer," Travis was born aboard the freighter Horizon in 2126, and grew up with a great knowledge of starships and was familiar with a variety of alien cultures. (ENT: "Broken Bow", "Fortunate Son", "Dead Stop", "Horizon", "Bound", et. al)

Star Trek is...

In Star Trek is..., Mayweather achieved the rank of Commodore and was the commanding officer of the SS Yorktown (NCC-108) from 2180 to 2188. He was preceded by Captain Joseph Kelby and succeeded by Commodore Francis Decker.

Robert April's middle name is "Mayweather" suggesting a connection, although this is purposefully never verified.

Axanar

A descendant of Mayweather's, Daria (surname unrevealed), was among a group of junior officers discussing the new Ares-class starships in the 602 Club in 2244. (Axanar: "Why We Fight")

Legacy

At least one freighter, SS Mayweather, was named after Travis Mayweather or his family. Montgomery Scott served aboard Mayweather in 2242. ("Roads Not Taken")
