Summary[]
Commander Seifer's Trill symbiont is brought into genetically altered independent sentience by a Srivani scientist, causing Lox to become jealous of her "mad-scientistry". He responds by genetically altering a tribble into sentience to fight the symbiont and prove his abilities against hers. But his actions have more of an uncontrolled effect than expected when the now sentient Tribble multiply and take over the USS Phoenix-X.
