Troy Oliver Bolton was a Human Starfleet officer in the alternate timeline caused by the Romulan known as Nero.
He was assigned to the reality's USS Enterprise following his graduation from Starfleet Academy.
During his time at the Academy, he met and fell in love with an Engineering cadet named Gabriella Montez. The circumstances of how this relationship began are currently unknown. (A Flight to Remember)
