The USS Aequitas (NCC-1032) was a Crossfield-class science vessel on active Federation Starfleet duty during the 32nd century. She was deployed to the First Fleet.
During its shakedown trials in the 23rd century, Aequitas's commanding officer was Commander Litchfield. Upon commissioning in the 32nd century, she was commanded by Colonel Garrett.
Nomenclature[]
The ship was named for aequitas, the Latin concept of justice, equality, symmetry, or fairness. It was the origin of the English word "equity".
