The USS Ahwahnee (NCC-73620) was a Cheyenne-class starship in service during the mid-24th century. (TNG: "Redemption, Part II") The 37th ship of her class constructed, Ahwahnee was launched 14 June 2348, and commissioned 28 August 2348. (USS Cheyenne Operations Manual)
The Ahwahnee participated in the Starfleet armada at the Battle of Wolf 359 in 2367 and was left adrift. (TNG: "Best of Both Worlds, Part II") In 2368, the ship helped blockade the Klingon-Romulan border during the Klingon Civil War. ("Redemption, Part II")
Afterwards, Ahwahnee was put through the Service Life Extension (SLEP) program and assigned to the Alpha Quadrant exploration zone. (USS Cheyenne Operations Manual)
