The USS Apache (NCC-51821) was a Cheyenne-class exploration cruiser active in the mid-24th century, the 12th ship of her class constructed. Apache was launched 26 January 2344, and commissioned 02 April 2344; she was assigned to the Alpha Quadrant exploration zone. (USS Cheyenne Operations Manual)
