The USS Artemis (NCC-1658) was a Federation Ares-class battlecruiser in service during the Four Years War. (Star Trek: Axanar) She was commanded by Captain Jakande. (Axanar Productions Instagram account, 02 November 2019)
In 2244, Artemis was part of a squadron attached to the Starfleet First Fleet. That squadron was ambushed deep inside Federation territory by three Klingon warships, including a new D7-class battlecruiser. Artemis was destroyed, with all hands.
