The USS Atlantis was a Federation starship in the 24th century. (Star Trek: The Next Generation, Star Trek: Lower Decks)

History

In 2364, Captain Jana Park commanded the Atlantis when she put in a request for a refit of its transporter system. She was informed by Admiral Gregory Quinn that Starfleet wouldn't make a decision until the ship returned to Earth Spacedock. Later that year, the orders were read by Lieutenant Commander Data during the investigation into an alleged conspiracy at Starfleet Command. (TNG: "Conspiracy")

In 2365, Captain Dick Brownfield was in command when the ship was assigned to a diplomatic mission to Alderaan. The Atlantis was named on a Starship Deploy Status chart on display in the courtroom of Starbase 173. (TNG: "The Measure Of A Man")

In 2372, the Atlantis received a distress call from Starbase 113 when it maintained an explosion before proceeding there at maximum warp. They relayed the information to other Starfleet ships that Starbase 113 believed Worf was responsible. (DS9 comic: "Bonds of Honor")

In the late 2370s, Ensign Beckett Mariner served on the Atlantis when nearly half the crew succumbed to a Kerplickian lice infestation. Starfleet instead wrote off the incident as if the crew had mysteriously disappeared. (LD: "Mugato, Gumato")

Star Trek: Phoenix-X

In 2381, the Atlantis was part of Task Force Zeta, under the umbrella of Starbase 78, and commanded by Captain Nemo. When the Atlantis held a conference with the Hellonesians, to consider joining the Federation, talks were suddenly canceled when one of the Hellonesian leaders was found dead aboard the ship. An investigation was conducted, but no answers were ever found for the mysterious murder. ("The Shadow Maneuvers")

In 2390, the ship was severely damaged from Hirogen attacks. After a significant amount of time to recover, the Atlantis joined Task Force Zeta and Task Force Epsilon in stopping the enemy threat. ("Into Harshness")

In 2397, Night Seifer, a clone of Night Seifer, was serving aboard the Atlantis at rank Lieutenant Commander and was conisdered one of the best of them. After realizing that he was a plant for the Seifer (symbiont), Captain Aeris recalled him to the USS Zephyra and then to the Phoenix-X where he would be joined and promoted. ("Partial Recall")

Background information

• The ship was named after the lost city of Atlantis, from Ancient Greece's mythology.
• Several registries appear in Star Trek: The Next Generation on background displays: NCC-52716 and NCC-72507. These could be considered seperate ships, or the same ship with on-screen Production oversights. Other registries that appear in books: NCC-72007 or NCC-32710 ("Bonds of Honor"). Note, on Star Trek: Lower Decks, Mariner serving on the Atlantis doesn't specifiy the ship's registry.
