USS Avendesta (NCC-3107) was a Mitannic-class battlecruiser on active duty in Starfleet during at least the late 23rd century. (Federation Reference Series 3)
Avendesta was originally scheduled to be a Menahga-class battlecruiser, but tests of the Menahgas necessitated corrections and improvements to ordnance systems and Bussard collectors, resulting in a subtly improved battlecruiser design.
Avendesta was commissioned in the late 2280s. T'Penra was her chief engineer by 2310. (Star Trek: Avenger)
